Framing Brett Weston Prints – part II

OK. So last night I helped to frame some Brett Weston prints. First off let me just say, they are amazing. There were abstracts, nudes, landscapes, cityscapes and more.

We had 41 prints at the studio, 8x10s 11x14s and 20x24s. Each of them were masterfully printed with deep, rich blacks, creamy whites and all the tones in between. Nothing short of exquisite.

I was told that these prints could probably fetch an estimated $250,000 total. Unbelievable.

If you’re interested in seeing them they will be on display at JRB Art Gallery from April 4th through April 26th.

If you’d like to see even more of Brett Weston’s work check out the show “Out of the Shadow” March 20 through May 18, 2008 at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
