It’s a Puerto Rican Christmas Eve

December 24th, 2008

We had the pleasure of dining on a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas dinner thanks to a tip from some wonderful folks at the farmer’s market who were selling delicious rum cakes!

Carolina Rollergirls

It was my first time shooting for the CarolinaRollergirls.  It’s a bit different shooting in Dorton Arena.  There’s actually quite a bit of light compared to other venues and there’s like a referee buffer zone, so I couldn’t get right up on the tape like I usually do.  Oh well, I guess that’s a good excuse to get a longer lens.

Framing Brett Weston Prints

March 20th, 2008

I have been afforded the opportunity to assist in the framing some original Brett Weston prints. We will be framing about 30 or so prints. I am totally ecstatic!

This happens next week. I’ll post more after the fact!

For those of you who don’t know:

Brett Weston (December 16, 1911January 22, 1993) was an American photographer and the second son of photographer Edward Weston. Brett’s photographs often approach abstraction, with subjects that are difficult to decipher. He is best known for his work in the dunes around Oceano, California, a subject that he shared with his father Edward Weston.
