It was my first time shooting for the CarolinaRollergirls. It’s a bit different shooting in Dorton Arena. There’s actually quite a bit of light compared to other venues and there’s like a referee buffer zone, so I couldn’t get right up on the tape like I usually do. Oh well, I guess that’s a good excuse to get a longer lens.

Dartmouth, Murals, Vermont in General
August 7th, 2008Recently I went to visit some friends up north. While I was there I had the chance to go roam around the Dartmouth campus. During my excursion I stumbled upon some amazing Orozco murals in the library. They are massive and incredibly detailed. If you’re ever in that area be sure to go and check them out.

Norman Music Festival 4.26.2008
April 28th, 2008By all accounts, the first annual Norman Music Festival was a smashing success. There was bluegrass, rockabilly, drum circles, indie, alternative…. Each band did there absolute best to make sure this event was a success.
The volunteers were extremely helpful. They saw me walking around with my camera and made sure to let me know where the media area was in case I needed to get some interviews with the bands.. Unfortunately, they bands I would have wanted to snap some more intimate shots of were in the media area while other bands I wanted to see were playing..
Ah well.
